Orillia field lacrosse team back on home field
After several years of nothing but road games, Orillia’s field lacrosse teams enjoyed home-field advantage this weekend after the West Orillia Sports Complex’s artificial turf field was named the host site for several age groups for this year’s spring league.On Saturday, Orillia’s U11 boy’s team took advantage of playing at home, trouncing Barrie 9-1. In their second game, the local Kings dumped Huntsville 11-1.On April 18, Orillia’s U13 team hosts Innisfil at 10 a.m. and Huntsville at 1:45 p.m.
