Hello Lacrosse Families! We wanted to make sure everyone is aware that our Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, September 17th from 7pm-9pm at Rotary Place. All members in good standing are welcome and encouraged to attend.

This past Monday, The Orillia Minor Lacrosse Association held its annual year end banquet, getting players, bench staff and parents together to celebrate the season and to acknowledge hard work, dedication and contributions of those involved. A full of list of award winners can be found here.

Rolling into Provincial Championships this past weekend with a single win under their belts for the season, our Orillia Sports Medicine U9-2 team rallied together to finish round robin play in a three-way tie for top spot with a 2-1 record. The tie-breaking formula placed the Kings in 2nd place, allowing them a chance at redemption against Niagara 2, the only team that had beaten them so far in the tournament. With a perfect 4-0 record heading into their "B" Division semi-final game against a skilled team from Sarnia, our R.J. Clarke Financial Solutions U9-1 squad battled hard but unfortunately came out on the short end of a fiercely played 3-2 decision.
