2021 Fall Field Update and Registration Link
Hello Lacrosse Families
Many of you have asked about the possibility of Orillia running a Fall Field program. We are happy to announce that the OMFLL is planning on running a full season with provincials!
The OMFLL have secured fields in Brampton at the Creditview Sandalwood Park.
Play will start September 4th with a view to provincials on Thanksgiving weekend (October 10th)They are planning on playing standard rules as per the OMFLL bylaws with regular roster size.
REGISTRATION FOR FALL FIELD LACROSSE IS NOW OPEN :)
At this time we are NOT asking for a fee to be paid, we simply need to know if we have enough players able to FULLY COMMIT to the season.
Our season will run from August 23 to October 11 and will include a weekly practice plus a minimum of 2 games each weekend.
U9, U11 & U13 will have games on Saturday.
U15 & U17 plays Sundays.
ALL GAMES ARE AWAY GAMES and will be played in Brampton.
Provincials will run over 2 days during the Thanksgiving weekend. Younger teams generally play Saturday & Sunday while older teams play Sunday & Monday.
We are very aware that with life returning to normal, many of you will have commitments to other activities, to work and to family. If your player is interested in playing Fall Field and is able to commit to the season, we would ask that you register ASAP. The fee for the regular season (once teams have been declared) will be $200. Players without a reversible Kings field jersey can purchase one for $50. In order to confirm interest we ask that you have your player registered NO LATER THAN AUGUST 8.
