Our weekly House League schedule has been confirmed.

WE CURRENTLY HAVE NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS TO HELP US RUN OUR HOUSE LEAGUE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS!
Our greatest need is for coaches to provide floor assistance, run skill development sessions and keep the benches and players organized during games. Lacrosse knowledge is an asset, but we will glad support and provide basic training to any qualified volunteer willing to help make the program run smoothly.
Volunteers must obtain a valid clear Criminal Record check and be registered as a volunteer with Orillia Minor Lacrosse. Requests for volunteer letters and a link to the O.P.P.'s online application form can be found in the "Vulnerable Sector and Police Checks" Online Library or you can CLICK HERE.
Students needing volunteer hours are welcome to apply.
Please contact [email protected] with any questions or to express your interest in volunteering.

Division Outlines:
Soft Lacrosse
Soft Lacrosse is an introduction to lacrosse for players who are or will be turning 4 during the current season. Players are introduced to basic lacrosse skills through small group instruction and skill building games. Soft lacrosse is a non-contact program which allows our youngest players to develop a love for the game in a safe and fun environment. Only a helmet with a cage, a stick, a mouth guard and running shoes are required but players are more than welcome to wear full lacrosse gear if they choose.
Sessions are 45 minutes long.
Soft players will receive a coupon for a free lacrosse stick at registration.
U7 (formerly Paperweight) Lacrosse
Paperweight is non contact and weekly sessions involve team practice time as well as modified games.
This year our first year Paperweights will follow a 3 on 3 format.
Second year Paperweight players can also choose to join an introductory Rep Program. The program is open to all registered second year players and will include additional practices and games with other centres.
U9 Box Lacrosse
The House League Program is a combination of skills and games and does involve body contact.
Teams may change over the course of the season in order to ensure they are equally balanced in skill and numbers.
U11 Box Lacrosse
This House League Program follows the same outline as U9 and will run with a shot clock.
Teams may change over the course of the season in order to ensure they are equally balanced in skill and numbers.
ALL PROGRAMS REQUIRE FULL EQUIPMENT.
