Orillia Kings Novice 2 team engaged with force against the Stayner Hitmen, on May 25. Period 1 erupted and Orillia netted a fantastic goal, but left The Orillia Kings trailing by 1. Throughout the remaining two periods Orillia & Stanyer engaged with intensity. With 35 seconds remaining, in the 3rd Orillia tied things up, 5-5, however Stayner clenched the game by 1 with 4 seconds remaining. Second & third period goals were scored by: Goals scored by Nate Fogarty (2), Zachary Montgomery (1), Marcus Petroff (1) & Ethan Beers (1).
With three games into the season, excellent goal tending has been maintained by Nathan Donnelly, and all members of the Orillia Kings Novice 2 team have played with intensity. Thanks to the great coaching staff provided to the squad by Coaches, Tim Gillett, Josh Holmes, Mike Fogarty, & Mike Montgomery (Trainer).Stay tuned for more action from this young troop!
