Balanced start to the season
The Orillia
Kings Moonstone Mechanical Tyke team has had a balanced start to their summer
2018 season with a current record of 2-2. Starting off the season strong they
beat Stayner Hitmen 10-2. Balanced
scoring helped the Orillia Kings look strong. They then carried that momentum
into game 2 winning 16-3 vs. Shelburne Vets.
Their luck ran out facing a tough team from Alliston. The TNT Renegades proved to be too much for the Kings to handle, handing the Kings their first loss by a score of 10-3. Hoping to rebound for their next game the Orillia Kings took their game on the road traveling down the highway to Barrie. The two teams were very closely matched but the Barrie Bombers proved to have a bit more in the tank pulling out a 4-3 win over the Kings.
The Orillia Kings Moonstone Mechanical tyke team hope to rebound this week when they travel north to play the Huntsville Hawks on Thursday.
